With Eskom more that often power cuts, have many of us invested in a gas stove. Have you however ensured that your loved ones and your home is safe from the dangers of gas.
Unfortunately, having a Gas detector, smoke detector and alarm is not common practice in South Africa but it should be encouraged. These somewhat simple devices are inexpensive and are easy to install.
Remeber to have them checked and make sure that the batteries are kept charged.
